By the Hutchinson River Parkway
The Hutch runs along the eastern edge of Mount Vernon. Head north and come off at the Eastchester and Scarsdale exits — typically about ten minutes from the Fleetwood side.
By Metro-North
Fleetwood and Mount Vernon West are on the Harlem line, the same line that stops at Scarsdale, so it is a short ride with no change. Mount Vernon East is on the New Haven line.
