Onto the bridge, across to the Cross Bronx Expressway, north on the Hutchinson River Parkway, out at Route 22. Thirty-five minutes on a good run. Being this close to the bridge cuts both ways — the approach is the congested part, so check it before you set off.
The Palisades Parkway to the Tappan Zee
North on the Palisades Interstate Parkway to the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge and east on I-287. Substantially longer, and worth knowing about only for the days the bridge is at a standstill.
